However, from time to time electronic parts will fail, usually within the first few days of use. Our systems come with a one-year carry-in warranty unless otherwise noted. We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on separate hardware products. For software, we do not offer refunds; but we will replace the product with the same item within 30 days of purchase. All software, monitor, and printer sales are final. Should you have a problem with either software, monitors, or printers, please contact the manufacturer. All returns and exchanges must be accompanied by the original sales receipt or invoice. All returned items should be in their original packaging along with all manuals, disks, CDs, and accessories that were originally supplied. Returns are subject to approval. No refunds or exchanges will be made after 30 days from the purchase date. Non-defective returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Refunds will be paid by company check; processing could take up to seven business days. Any cash purchases under $25.00 will be refunded in cash, if returned on the same day.
Warranty repair may require certain parts (i.e. hard drives) to be shipped back to the manufacturer or repair center. NuPort may provide temporary parts if available.
All warranties are void if anyone other than NuPort Enterprises, Inc. or its agents service the hardware. Warranties do not cover any misuse, abuse, modifications to parts, or configurations done by anyone other than NuPort Enterprises, Inc. or its agents.
If NuPort Enterprises, Inc. is found negligent, NuPort Enterprises, Inc. will only be liable for damage to hardware, up to the market value of the hardware, which we may repair or replace at our discretion. NuPort Enterprises, Inc. assumes no responsibility at any time for any losses (i.e. time, data, or business) occurring due to failure of any products purchased from or serviced by NuPort Enterprises, Inc.
Additionally, the client agrees to pay all legal expenses incurred by NuPort Enterprises, Inc. in the event that the resolution of any disagreement between the client and NuPort Enterprises, Inc. requires a court of law.
For any warranty repair items, NuPort Enterprises, Inc. agrees to pay one way shipping back to the customer. Any out of warranty hardware repairs or software work will be subject to current labor charges. In addition, the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the out of warranty item, both ways.
The laws of The Commonwealth of Virginia govern this warranty.
